Certification
Foundation:
This course prepares the participant for the official PRINCE2® Foundation Exam (paper-based). Participants who take the exam are prepared extensively through test exams and instructor feedback. The exam is a 75 question multiple choice, closed book exam over 60 minutes as developed by APMG. Participants will receive the certificate after answering at least 38 questions correctly.
Practitioner:
The purpose of the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam paper is to test a delegates ability to apply the method.
From September 2007 the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam changed from an open-ended essay style format to a multiple choice ( "OTE" - Objective Testing Exam) format. The change from open-ended essay style format to multiple choice may seem to make the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam easier. However a broad knowledge is still required to pass this exam and initial feedback confirms that the exam is very much at the same level as the previous format.
The new PRINCE2® Practitioner exam format
- 9 questions, with a scenario background and appendices.
- Each of the 9 questions is worth 40 marks.
- An overall score of 180 out of a possible 360 is required to pass.
- Three hour duration.
- Open-book examination (only the PRINCE2® Manual is allowed)
